The Wedding Boutique was born from two things that have played a major role in our lives for years: our passion for extraordinary events and our love for South Africa.

Together, we have more than 25 years of experience in the world of weddings, events, and hospitality. For years, Remco was at the helm of exceptional wedding and event venues in the Netherlands, including Finley het Witte Huis in Loosdrecht and The Upper Deck in Naarderbos. Romy organized weddings and corporate events, working as a Concept Manager on events, venues, and hospitality concepts.

Because of this, we know the world behind a wedding from every angle. We understand how venues and suppliers operate, how to turn loose ideas into a single strong concept, and what it takes to make everything feel effortless on the day itself.

And then there was South Africa. A country with which we have had a special bond for a long time and that inspires us time and time again. The landscapes, the people, the hospitality, the food, and the wine, but above all, the immense diversity. Getting married amidst the vineyards of the Cape Winelands, along the coast around Cape Town, or in the heart of African nature: here, a wedding can become an experience that extends far beyond just that one day.
